On Tuesday, April 10, the Sejong Institute
held the seventh colloquium of the year on the topic of “Evolution in North
Korea’s Financial Sector: Political and Economic Implications of the Expansion
of Card Usage.” Vice President Yang Un-chul analyzed the use of cards in North
Korea and elaborated on the political and economic implications of the increase
in the use of cards and the transition countries.
