English Abstract
At the 2007 and 2018 inter-Korean summits, North Korea took a very active stance in promoting the end-of-war declaration. However, North Korea is now demanding that South Korea stop joint military exercises with the U.S. and withdraw its double standards as conditions for the end-of-war declaration. Therefore, this writing will analyze why and how North Korea's stance on the end-of-war declaration has changed and propose the direction of South Korea and the U.S. policy to move beyond the end-of-war declaration.
