With the latest "2+2 Conference," the U.S. and Japan have agreed to develop the alliance into a stronger, more integrated, more mobile, deterrent, and more responsive system. From South Korea's point of view, it is necessary to prepare and respond to possible military situations in the region, considering the situation in which the common strategic goals of the US-Japan alliance are set on "China.“

 

In addition, it is necessary to focus on minimizing the negative impact by concentrating on the form of involvement in the U.S.-Japan alliance especially the possibility of changes in Japan's military involvement in the event of an emergency situation in the Korean Peninsula.
