South Korea and the United States co-hosted the second "Summit for Democracy." Korea selected an anti-corruption agenda and hosted the Indo-Pacific Regional Conference. This brightens the prospects for the "Value Oriented Democracy" of the Yoon government as well as the achievement of Korean democracy. Korea is a rare country that achieved both economic development and democratization after the colonial era and war. Beyond sharing the experience of economic development, it is time to share the experience of consolidating democracy with the world. The realization of universal values such as freedom, human rights, and constitutionalism is a key to regenerating democracy, which is retreating worldwide, and to contribute to peace and prosperity in an era of uncertainty.
