English Abstract

Conflicts between the U.S. and China, which came to light upon the inauguration of the Trump administration, were beyond economic disputes from the beginning; they signaled a hegemonic competition, yet quickly escalated to an ideological conflict. Under these circumstances, the U.S. may utilize all kinds of measures of pressure, such as diplomatic and military means, beyond economic means, to end the Communist Party of China. The current situation is similar to that of the past when the U.S. pressured against the Soviet Union until its collapse. Can China withstand such strong pressure? Considering the current capacity of China, it must be a heavy burden.
