   The U.S. and China, which have competed to gain more allies in Western Asia and in the Middle East, have recently turned to derisking for a dialogue. Mid-sized countries such as India, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Iran, the UAE, Turkiye, and Egypt are not picking sides but attempting for a "new relation" for their security and economic interests. The Republic of Korea, which is on the brink of a developed country, should re-establish itself with customized balanced diplomacy not only at the global level but also in the Middle East to return its sideways or downward trend of national power (K-Korean Wave and national prestige).​
