Since the founding of Israel in 1945, Israel and Palestine's 'two-state solution' has been developed in various ways, but no progress has been made for nearly 80 years. In the 21st century, where complex geopolitical liquidity exists, strategic competition between the U.S. and China has intensified, and middle-sized Middle Eastern countries are responding with hedging strategies. The 2023 Israel–Hamas war occurred during this period of structural change at the global level, including the Middle East, and is giving a new shock to the changing structure of international relations in the Middle East and the situation in the Middle East. In this situation, the Republic of Korea is required to establish a 'Korean hedging strategy' against the Middle East.
