5 Questions About Aspects of the Future War: Based on the Implications of the Ukrainian War

Lykke addressed the military strategy consists of three elements: goals, methods, and means. From this point of view, the implications of the War in Ukraine were analyzed in four ways. Russia has imbalances in three strategic factors, and its weapons system has failed to follow the timelapse. Ukraine's military power has weakened due to the absence of threat awareness and is responding with asymmetric methods after the loss of the Crimea Peninsula. There are five questions about the aspects of war in the future. Is the change in war patterns 'Revolutionary?' or 'Evolutionary'? Do all countries are capable of an "American-style War"? Is the new high-tech weapon a game-changer? Is the intangible factor a secondary factor or a key factor? Is the future war short or long? Preparations for the future are to reduce uncertainty and seek the most suitable path. Four implications and five questions can be a starting point.​
