China is now strategically approaching Korea. In a situation like this, we must be fully aware of the possibility that if we try too hard to understand China’s interests we won’t be able to protect our own. Thus it is imperative that we evade any situation that might harm ROK-US alliance, and utilize diplomatic channels to let China understand our situation with the US. As we enhance our level of communication with China, we should make sure to protect our position and diplomatic interests against China’s unreasonable demand.
