On December 7, 2022, China's State Council announced the easing of its nearly three-year "Zero Corona" quarantine policy. Concerns over public opposition and economic deterioration due to the prolonged blockade are pointed out as the cause of the rapid policy shift. However, quarantine was lifted while the infrastructure was insufficient, leading to massive social confusion.

As a way of management, China is blaming the Covid-19 protest who pressured the government, while highlighting conflicts with the neighboring countries and Korea is likely to be targeted with political consideration. It seems that South Korea, in particular, has been targeted by political considerations. Time can solve technical problems, but emotional problems are difficult to heal with ease. It is time to focus on cooperation rather than antagonism.
