On the occasion of Memorial Day 2025, Chairman Yong-Joon Lee of Sejong Institute held a flower-laying and commemoration ceremony at Section 1 of the National Cemetery in Seoul, paying tribute to the fallen patriots of the 1983 Rangoon bombing.

Sejong Institute conducts memorial ceremonies every year on Memorial Day in June and on October 9, in remembrance of the 1983 Rangoon bombing.​
