In the year 2008, the ROK government will be newly established. With the foundation of a new government, 

new policies and visions will be presented as well. Should there be wise and effective policies and visions, 

others may be cases of maladministration. Wise policies and visions are bound to have affirmative contributions 

towards national development, while ones that aren’t so wise will make the nation retrogress. With this in mind, 

the Sejong Institute produces ideas towards a healthy national development of the ROK, and focuses on utilizing 

these ideas towards an appropriate aim. This politic series is a collaborative collection of ideas gathered by 

the Sejong research fellows aiming towards the decision-makers of the next administration, that examine the kind 

of policies that must be considered by the new government for the betterment of national diplomacy/security/unification

 in the ROK.
