On Tuesday, July 16, 2024, the Sejong Institute held a reception to commemorate its relocation to near Gwanghwamun, Seoul
The reception began with opening remarks by Yongjoon Lee, Chairman of the Sejong Institute.
After congratulatory remarks by Prime Minister Duck-soo Han, Minister Tae-yul Cho from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, British Ambassador Colin Crooks, Deputy Director Tae-hyo Kim from Office of National Security, and President Ki-hong Seong from Yonhap News Agency. The event was followed by a toast by Sejong Institute President Hyun-Wook.
The event was attended by several guests, including former Foreign Minister Roh-myung Kong(former chairman of the Sejong Institute) and Moon-soo Kim, chairman of the National Economic, Social and Labor Council, who congratulated the institute on its relocation to Gwanghwamun.
