On June 1, Dr. Paik Haksoon ​was inaugurated as the 10th president of the Sejong Institute. Dr. Paik has assumed policy advisory roles to the Ministry of Unification and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, relevant committees at the National Assembly, and served as vice president for the Korean Political Science Association and Korean Association of North Korean Studies, etc. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in English and Master’s Degree in Political Science at Seoul National University, and Ph.D. at University of Pennsylvania. He also has experience of postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University.
