The 50th Anniversary of Global Nuclear Non-proliferation Regime: Achievements of NPT Review Conferences and Limitations | CHUNG Eunsook
This paper takes the NPT (Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons) as a central piece of global nuclear non-proliferation regime and analyzes its achievements and limitations. Furthermore, this article forecasts future 50 years of this regime. As for the methodology, the author focused on the United Nation’s NPT review conference, which is in fact the only operation mechanism of the treaty. A review conference is being held every five years among the member states parties based on the article VIII, paragraph 3 of the NPT.

Economic Development Strategy in the Kim Jong Un Era and the Roles of Munitions Industry | CHOI Eun-ju
North Korea has traditionally prioritized the development of defense industry and relative sectors. However, North Korea recently began to change its traditional development methods. The most significant difference can bee seen at the national development strategy. North Korea has put forward economic development and improvement of people’s livelihood as top priorities, and at the same time, the roles of the military and munitions industry seem to be gradually changing in the remarks of Chairman Kim Jong Un.

The U.S.-China-Russia Trilateral Relations in the Trump Era and Foreign Strategies of the ROK | HONG Hyun-ik
The Trump administration has declared America-first policy as the basic foreign policy stance of the U.S., and has pursued Indo-Pacific strategy that keeps China and Russia in check and encloses them as a part of larger framework of its external strategy. It signifies that the U.S. chose pursuing its own national interest rather than fulfilling its responsibility to provide public goods to the international community as an exemplary superpower in leading the global order.

A Source of Anti-Immigrant Attitude of Populism | KANG Miong Sei
Globalization reached the cliff due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is hard to predict how much this pandemic will prolong, yet the impact of pandemic on globalization has been evident. Travels that cross borders stopped and the movements of goods sharply declined. Anti-globalization began a long time ago, although it did not spread as dramatically as the COVID-19 did after the outbreak.
