 Recent Events

『President’s Activities』
December 13, 2022, President Sang Hyun Lee was appointed as the head of the Planning & Coordination Standing Committee of the Presidential Peaceful Unification Advisory Council.

『Education Programs』
The Commencement Ceremony of the 28th Sejong National Strategy Education Program was held on December 8, 2022. The trainees received certificates of completion in attendance by the Sejong Institute's president and alumni association, and prizes were awarded to outstanding trainees.

『Academic Events』
December 15, 2022, the Sejong Institute held the Indo-Pacific Roundtable with the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Korea(EEAS). The Roundtable was attended by Sang Hyun Lee, President of the Sejong Institute, and numerous ambassadors from the EU, including EU Ambassador Maria Castillo Fernandez, Ambassador Richard Tibbels(EU Indo-Pacific Strategy), and Ambassador Michael Pulch(EEAS)... Ambassador Pulch presented “Coordinated Maritime Presence in the North Western Indian Ocean (CMP NWIO)”, and Korean participants introduced South Korea’s Indo-Pacific Maritime Strategies, followed by measures of cooperation for Maritime Security between South Korea and the EU.
