Chairman Chung-in Moon gave a keynote speech at an international conference on “The North Korean Nuclear Problem: Escalation and De-escalation” organized by the Open Nuclear Network in Vienna on June 8, 2022. He also gave a keynote speech on “Strategic Cooperation between EU-Indo-Pacific Countries: Choose and Focus” at the EU-Indo-Pacific Countries High-level Dialogue which was held in Praha, Czech, on June 13. The conference was organized by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Toward the end of his European tour, Chairman Moon also gave a talk on “The Ukraine War and Implications for Regional Security in Northeast Asia” at the University of Heidelberg on June 15.
Chairman Chung-in Moon had a breakfast meeting with nine American journalists on June 23, 2022, whose visit to Seoul was arranged by the Atlantic Council.
Chairman Chung-in Moon gave a keynote speech on “U.S. Indo-Pacific Strategy and Implications for Regional Security Architecture” at the World Peace Forum which was virtually organized the Tsinghua University on July 4, 2022. He also gave a keynote speech on “Thirty Years of China-ROK Diplomatic Normalization: Recasting and Forecasting” at a virtual conference organized by the Institute of International Studies, the Shanghai Academy of Social Science, on July 5, 2022.
