  Academic Activities

The 4th Sejong Policy Forum

On May 11, 2020 the Sejong Institute held the fourth Sejong Policy Forum on the topic of “COVID-19 and Competition between the U.S. and China” at the Somerset Palace located in Gwanghwamun, Seoul.   

The 6th Sejong Colloquium of 2020

On May 12, 2020, the Sejong Institute held the sixth colloquium of this year. Dr. Lee Sang Hyun, Senior Research Fellow, presented his paper on the topic of “COVID-19 and Global Governance.”   


ROK-China Expert Roundtable

On May 19, 2020, the Sejong Institute held a roundtable discussion with ROK-China experts. Dr. Jung Sangki, Visiting Research Fellow of the Sejong Institute, gave a presentation on “COVID-19 and ROK-China Relations.”   

The 5th Sejong Policy Forum

On May 20, 2020 the Sejong Institute held the fifth Sejong Policy Forum on the topic of “North Korea’s Korea Policy and Foreign Relations After the COVID-19 Crisis: Prospects and Responses” at the Conference House Dalgaebi   


The 7th Sejong Colloquium of 2020

On May 26, 2020, the Sejong Institute held the seventh colloquium of this year. Dr. Yang Un-Chul, Director of the Department of Unification Strategy Studies, presented his paper on the topic of “COVID-19 Crisis and Uncertainty of North Korean Economy."
