ROK-China Expert Meeting for Sejong-KT&G China Fellowship 2020

The Sejong Institute held a closed meeting among experts from South Korea and China on the topic of “The U.S.-DPRK Relations and the Korean Peninsula” in Sokcho, Kangwon Province from October 26 to 27, 2020.

 

Dr. CHUNG Jae-hung, a research fellow at the Sejong Institute, moderated sessions, and Dr. HAN Xuandong (韓獻棟), Sejong-KT&G China Fellow, presented his paper on the topic of “The U.S.-DPRK Relations and Korean Affairs from the Perspective of Chinese Scholars.” Dr. BI Yingda (畢潁達), a vice president and a professor at the School of Northeast Asian Studies of Shandong University, participated as a discussant for an in-depth debate. Senior Research Fellow LEE Jong-seok, Senior Research Fellow KIM Jungsup, and Director LEE Seong-hyon of the Center for Chinese Studies of the Sejong Institute also participated in the event.
