South Korea-Taiwan Security Dialogue

November 28, President Sang Hyun Lee of the Sejong Institute signed an MOU with the Taiwan Foundation on Asia-Pacific Peace Studies(APS) and held an experts’ roundtable. The Foundation on Asia-Pacific Peace Studies specializes in the field of China, renowned for its supreme research and intelligence competence. (Details of participants are listed below) Xu Xinliang, Chairman of APS, a mogul who founded the current ruling party, the Mijin Party, led the democratization of Taiwan in the late 1980s. On the upper floor of the APS locates the Prospect Foundation, a think tank which analyzes international relations from various angles. President Lee also visited the National Defense University of Taiwan, to exchange opinions on military issues of China. On November 29, President Lee visited the Institute for National Defense and Security Research(INDSR).
