On January 7, 2016, the Sejong Institute held the 4^th Colloquium on the subject of North Korea’s fourth nuclear experiment. Dr. Haksoon Paik assessed North Korea’s recent nuclear test and made prospects. The colloquium was moderated by Vice President Un-Chul Yang and attended by panelists from in and outside the Sejong Institute, including Chairman Joon-woo Park, President Chang Soo Jin, Dr. Jinmoo Kim and Dr. Myeong-kuk Chun from the Korea Institute for Defense Analysis. Participants discussed and exchanged their opinions on the following subjects. △Background and intended goal behind North Korea’s recent nuclear experiment, △ Future Inter-Korean relations, △ Worsening of the China-North Korea relations, △ Strengthening international sanctions against North Korea, △ Possibility of another nuclear experiment or provocations, △ Domestic and international policy response directions.
