The 5th International Forum on Security and Sttrategy

President Lee Sang-hyun was invited to an international conference organized by the Center for International Security Strategy at Tsinghua University in China for March 23 to 26. A large number of prominent experts from the U.S. and China attended the plenary session, while former chairman Moon Chung-in, Director Chung Jae-heung, and Advisor Lee Dong-min, attended by online. The conference was conducted total of five panels, including U.S.-China relation, Eurasian security, Status in the Asia-Pacific region, Economic and technological links, and China's global Security Initiatives.

Professor Jia Qingguo of Beijing University, Professor Yan Xuetong of Beijing University, Professor Wu Xinbo of Fudan University, Professor Zhu Feng of Nanjing University, and Professor Yang BoJang of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences attended. Paul Gerwirtz of Yale University, Professor Susan Shirk, Ambassador Stephen Hadley, Ambassador Joseph DeTrani, Professor Susan Thornton, and Dr. Douglas Paal from the U.S. attended.​
