On March 7, 2023, the Sejong Institute held an academic conference at the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) under the theme of "Crisis Management on the Korean Peninsula and Sustainability of Peace Coexistence with North Korea," co-hosted by the USIP and The National Committee on North Korea (NCNK)

Conference began with the opening remarks of Frank Aum, senior researcher at the USIP, Keith Luse, CEO of the NCNK, and Sanghyun Lee, president of the Sejong institute.
