On June 17, Beomchul Shin, Principal Research Fellow, gave a presentation titled “Assessment of the Transition of Wartime Operational Control (OPCON) and Future Policy Directions.”

The policy debate was moderated by Seong-Chang Cheong, Acting Vice President of Sejong Institute, and featured discussions by Hyuk Jang, Distinguished Professor at the Korea National Defense University, and Kwang Sup Joo, Visiting Research Fellow at the Center for Security Strategy.
