On September 8, the Sejong Institute held the 11st Colloquium on “the 10th Anniversary of the 9.19 Joint Statement and North Korean Nuclear Issue Solution Measures.” Dr. Hyun-ik Hong, director of the Security Strategy Studies Department, gave a presentation on the 9.19 Joint Statement analyzing the implications and significance of the statement, and made predictions on possible crisis scenarios and proposed strategies to resolve the North Korean nuclear issue.
