On May 27-28, 2016, twelve students enrolled in the 2nd Sejong Academy for Young Leaders Program had an opportunity to go on a field trip. In Paju, the participants visited Imjingak (a park located 7km from the Military Demarcation Line), the Third Infiltration Tunnel (one of the four known tunnels dug by North Korea under the border) and the Dora Observatory, which looks over the Demilitarized Zone). On the second day in Cheorwon, the students toured the Second Infiltration Tunnel and Baekmagoji battleground, which is the site of one the most intense battles during the Korean War.
