On July 14th Tuesday, at the Sejong Institute's 14th Colloquium of 2023, Seong-Chang Cheong, Director of Depertment of Unification Strategy Studies at Sejong Institute, presented the theme of "Checklist and Four-Step Strategy for Korea's Own Nuclear Possession"

This discussion was hosted by Jung sup Kim, Vice President of the Sejong Institute

The presentation was made focusing on the possibility of changes in the external environment during Korea's full-fledged pursuit of its independent nuclear armament, as well as various stages, forms, paths, and methods for such process.

It was also focused on the lack of possibility of North Korea's denuclearization and the limitation of U.S. extended deterrence. 

After the discussion, the participants discussed the possibility of Korea's own nuclear armament and its reality for further process.
