On Thursday, October 19, the Sejong Insitute held the 34th Sejong National Strategy Forum on the topic of "the Moon Jae-in Administration's National Strategy for Peace and Prosperity on the Korean Peninsula." The forum began with President Jin Chang Soo's opening remarks, Chairperson Park Joon-woo's welcoming remarks, and Vice Unification Minister Chun Hae-sung's congratulatory remarks. Comprised of four sessions, the forum addressed themes such as "diplomatic strategy for peace on the Korean Peninsula," "security strategy for peace on the Korean Peninsula," "strategy regarding North Korea for prosperity on the Korean Peninsula." and finally, "recommendations for the Moon Jae-in administration's national agenda." The forum's participants included Dr. Cho Sung-ryul of Institute for National Security Security, Professor Kim Heungkyu of Ajou University, Professor Kim Joonhyung of Handong Global University, Vice President Choi Kang of Asan Institute for Policy Studies, etc and had an in-depth discussion on the Moon administration's national strategy.
