On March 17, 2015, the Sejong Institute held the 3rd Sejong Policy Forum under the title of “How shall we overcome the current Inter-Korean Relations,” at Somerset Palace, Seoul. 

The forum constitutes two sessions.

The first session was moderated by Dr. Sang Hyun Lee, director of Office for Security Strategy Studies, Sejong Institute, on the subject of the current status of North Korea in terms of politics, military security, and economy. Presentations on the subject were given by Dr. Haksoon Baik, senior researcher of the Sejong Institute, Dr. Yong-tae Chung from KINU, and Joong-ho Kim, researcher of Export Import Bank of Korea. 

The second session was moderated by Dr. Chang-soo Jin, director of the Center for Japanese Studies, Sejong Institute, on the subject of developing measures to overcome the current Inter-Korean relations. Presentations were given by Dr. Jong-chul Park from KINU, and Dr. Ki-dong Kim from INSS.

The discussion panels of the first and second sessions included Dr. Un-Chul Yang, senior researcher at the Sejong Institute, Prof. Jae-chul Kim from the Catholic University, Dr. Doohyun Cha, former researcher of KIDA, Dr. Seong-chang Cheong, director of Office for Unification Strategy Studies, Sejong Institute, Prof. Guen-sik Kim from Kyungnam University, and Prof. Ji Hwan Hwang from Seoul City University.
