On Wednesday, November 23, 2016, the Sejong Institute held its 3rd Special Session of Sejong Policy Forum on the topic of “North Korea Factor in South Korea's Cyber Ecosystem.” The forum was cohosted with Cyber Peace and Security Forum. The forum commenced with presentations from Research Fellow Sung-kyu Ahn of the Asan Institute for Policy Studies and Chairman Sangho Lee of the Cyber Peace and Security Forum, each on "North Korea Factor in the Pollution of South Korea's Cyber Ecosystem" and "Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) and North Korea".
For the discussion, Professor Geuk Lee of Hannam University, Professor Sunggwon Cho of Hansung University, Professor Tae-hoi Huh of Sun Moon University, Eunhee Song of Institute of National Security and Strategy, Hawon Jung of Elastic Korea, Yang-pyo Hong of Comtech System as well as eight other experts from various institutes participated and analyzed the North Korea factor in South Korea's cyber ecosystem and discussed policy response strategy.
