On January 19, 2016, the Sejong Institute held the 2016 first Sejong Policy Forum (closed workshop) at Somerset Palace on the title of “Assessment and Tasks of the Third Year Entering Park Geun-hye Administration’s Diplomatic, Security, and Unification Policies.” In the first session, Prof. Joon Hyung Kim from the Handong University, Prof. Ho-yul Ryo from the Korea University, and Dr. Namhoon Cho from the Korea Institute of Defense Analysis presented their assessments on the Park Administration’s diplomatic, security, and unification policies. In the second session, Prof. Geun-sik Kim from Kyoungnam University, Dr. Jae-hyun Lee from the Asan Institute of Policy Studies, and Prof. Kyu-deok Hong from the Sookmyung Women’s University presented their analyses on tasks and strategies for the Park Administration’s future policies. The forum was attended by panelists from both government and non-government institutions.
