[Sejong Policy Forum]

Fifth Policy Forum of 2022

On June 22, 2022 (Wednesday), the Sejong Institute held its fifth Sejong Policy Forum under the theme of "Indo-Pacific Strategy and Implications for Korea" at the Somerset Palace Hotel Seoul Seminar Room.



The forum began with the opening speech of Lee Sang Hyun, President of the Sejong Institute. Choi Yoon Jung, Director of the Department of Diplomatic Strategy Studies of the Sejong Institute, moderated sessions. In the first session, Professor Seo Jungkun​ of Kyung Hee​ University​, Professor Hwang Jaeho​ of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies​ of Korea, and Lee Soo Hyung, Senior Research Fellow at Institute for National Security Strategy​, and Lee Jae Hyun​, Senior Research Fellow at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies​, presented under the theme of "Indo-Pacific Regional Strategy of Major Countries." In the second session, Kim Yang hee, Research Fellow at​ Korea National Diplomatic Academy, and Professor Kim Taehyung of Soongsil University​, presented under the theme of "Factors and Future Challenges of the Indo-Pacific Strategy in Korea​," and presenters and debaters​ had heated discussions.

Kim Jungsup, vice president of the Sejong Institute, participated as an observer again.
