[The 4th Sejong Policy Forum] China’s Offensive Diplomacy: How Should We Respond?
On April 21, the Sejong Institute held the 4th Sejong Policy Forum under the title of “China’s Offensive Diplomacy: How Should We Respond?” at Somerset Palace, Seoul.
The forum was divided into two sessions, and each session was followed by Q&A session.
In the first session, Dr. Song-gul Kim from (Korean Institute for Defense Analysis) and Prof. Seung-joo Lee (Chung-Ang University) gave a presentation on the status of China’s offensive diplomacy in terms of THAAD and AIIB. The session was moderated by Dr. Sang Hyun Lee from the Sejong Institute.
In the second session, Prof. Heung-kyu Kim (Ajou University) and Dong-ryul Lee (Dongduk Women’s University) gave presentation on ROK’s response measure against China’s offensive diplomacy.
Participants of the forum, including Prof. Ho-chul Lee (Incheon University), Prof. Tai Ho Kim (Hallim University), Prof. Soung-ho Shin (Seoul National University), Prof. Moon-ki Lee (Sejong University), Joon-Yong Kang (Hankuk University of Foreign Studies), and Dr. Byong-gwang Park (Institute for National Security Strategy), exchanged their views and opinions.
