Sejong China Security Forum 2020

On November 23 (Mon.), 2020, the Sejong Institute held “Sejong China Security Forum 2020” on the topic of “Indo-Pacific Strategy of the New Biden Administration and the ROK-China Relations” at the Somerset Palace Seoul as a closed meeting.

 

In this forum, experts from both South Korea and China participated in an in-depth discussion related to major security issues, including the U.S. Indo-Pacific Strategy of the Biden Administration, QUAD and North Korean nuclear weapon. Panelists evaluated the current address of the Korean Peninsula and the future of the China-U.S. relations, analyzed challenges to the ROK-China relations such as Indo-Pacific Strategy and QUAD, and suggested measures of security cooperation on common problems. The forum consisted of two sessions and details are as below.
