The Sejong Institute held its 7th Visiting Fellow Seminar on November 17, 2010, in the small conference room with visiting fellow Dr. Jae-ha Pak. In his presentation, Dr. Jae-ha Pak emphasized that today's world is challenging the 3rd industrial revolution (knowledge industry) that we have to advance from the physical production we followed in the 1st mechanization industrial revolution and the 2nd information technology industrial revolution to the intangible knowledge industry through globalized education, research, and development in such fields as microelectronic engineering, computer, information communications, artificial materials, robot engineering, life science and engineering, etc. Dr. Pak empirically explained how to improve the economy and living standard through such high value-added technology and industry.
