SUBJECT: The 17th Korea-China Academic Conference <Regional Cooperation in Northeast Asia and ROK-China relations>

The 17th annual ROK-China academic conference between the Sejong Institute and the Chinese Institute of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) was held at the Sejong Institute on September 19, 2011. The Sejong-CICIR academic conference is held annually in altnernating locations at Beijing and Seoul. The objective of the conference is to openly exchange our views and ideas. With the results in mind each institute proposes policies to their respective governments. The 17th annual Sejong-CICIR academic conference was attended by research fellows from both the Sejong Institute and CICIR. President Daesung Song (Sejong Institute) and Deputy Director Ji Zhiye (CICIR) presented the opening remarks and the conference proceeded with three sessions.
