The Sejong Institute held its third Sejong Policy Forum this year on Thursday, March 3 on the subject of “The Inter-Korean Relations: Reassessment and Future Strategy.” The forum was conducted in two closed sessions. The first session was moderated by Dr. Sang Hyun Lee (Vice President of Research Planning Division at the Sejong Institute), during which Professor Jihwan Hwang (University of Seoul) and Dr. Ki Dong Lee (research fellow at the Institute for National Security Strategy) gave presentations on the topic of “Assessing the Current Status of Inter-Korean Relations.” During the second session, which was moderated by President Chang Soo Jin of the Sejong Institute, Dr. Du Hyeon Cha (research fellow at Korea Institute for National Unification) and Kuyoun Chung (committee member of Unification Preparatory Committee) presented on the subject of “Future Trajectory of North Korea Policy.” Other scholars and policy experts from relevant government institutions also participated and engaged in an active discussion during the forum.
