On Thursday, October 18, the Sejong Institute held the domestic conference on the topic of “New Northern Policy and Multilateral Cooperation in Northeast Asia in the Security Domain” as part of establishing the public-private network for economy domain in the 2018 Northeast Asia Platform for Peace and Cooperation project. This conference, as part of ROK foreign ministry’s program, brought together Sejong fellows including Vice President for Research Planning Cheong Seong-chang and Research Fellow Chung Jaehung, Visiting Research Fellow Hwang Jae-jun and experts in the relevant field and the participants explored measures to enhance multilateral cooperation in Northeast Asia through the New Northern Policy.
