On October 1st 2024, the Sejong Institute held a 2024 joint forum with the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) under the theme of "Korea-Japan Cooperation toward a New International Order."

President Hyun-Wook Kim, Senior Research Fellow Myon Woo Lee, Senior Research Fellow Beom-Cheol Shin, Senior Research Fellow Jae-hung Chung, Research Fellow Eunju Choi from Sejong Institute and Professor Jungkun Seo from Kyung Hee University attended the forum.
