On Monday, June 26, the Sejong Institute held the second expert seminar on cyberspace jointly with the Center for Cyber Security Policy of Korea University at the Lotte Hotel. On the topic of “Tasks for International Cooperation and Implementation Measures in the Area of Cyberspace,” the participants including government experts and experts in cyberspace such as Kwon Hun-young, and Yoon Ji-Won (Professors, Korea University Graduate School of Information Security), Yoo Soo-Geun (Vice President, Korea Information Security Industry Association), Choi Sung-jin (President, Korea Internet Corporations Association), Lee Sang-joon (Director of Institute of Eurasian Studies at Kookmin University), Jang Eun Young (Director of Economic Affairs, Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat), etc. discussed the tasks and environment for establishing the foundation of international cooperation in the area of cyberspace and the measures for Korea-Russia cooperation initiative on cyberspace.
