On Tuesday, February 27, the Sejong Institute, held the fourth colloquium for this year on the topic of "Sanctions on North Korea, How Effective Is It? Signs of Changes in the Spatial Structure in North Korea." Kim Byungwook, head of the North Korea Development Institute and Researcher Moon Youngsoon who presented at the colloquium stated that the international sanctions on North Korea have had a trivial effect through the analysis of structural changes in societal and functional space in the Eunjong Science District in Pyongayng and Hyemyong District in Hyesan around 2014.
