On October 16, 2019, Sejong-WWC Korea Forum 2019 was held in Washington, DC, the United States, under the title of “Critical Issues on the Korean Peninsula: Diagnosis and Prescription.” The experts of the Sejong Institute—Chairman Baek Jong Chun, President Paik Haksoon, Dr. Woo Jung-Yeop, Director of the Center for American Studies, and Dr. Seonghyon Lee, Director of the Center for Chinese Studies—met with other twenty Korean and American experts to discuss the tasks and prospects of the US-North Korea negotiations, the US domestic politics and the Korean peninsula, and economic sanctions and the North Korean economy.
