On May 16, the Sejong Institute visited The Institute for Security and Development Policy (ISDP) in Sweden as part of the Korea-Europe Policy Dialogue for Mutual Understanding and Trust.

The event was organized in the form of a roundtable discussion with a keynote speech by Seok-in Hong, Ambassador of Korea for Public Diplomacy, on the topic of 'Approaches to Reunification and Denuclearization and Korea-Europe Engagement Strategy and Security Cooperation '.

Jin-woo Choi(Professor, Hanyang University), Sungwon Lee (Research Fellow, Sejong Institute), and Taek-bin Kim (Senior Research Fellow, Seoul National University Institute for Unification and Peace) participated the discussion, while from the ISDP,  Dr. Niklas Swanström (Director at ISDP), Jakob Kiefer (former Career Diplomat & current Board Member at ISDP), Riccardo Villa (Project Coordinator at ISDP’s Asia Program), Filip Borges Månsson (Executive Assistant at ISDP) joined the discussion with Hyo-sun Lim(Director of Public Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs)​
