On Wednesday, July 12, the Sejong Institute held the “2nd Expert Workshop on Nuclear Safety – Measures to Enhance Multilateral Cooperation in Northeast Asia.” The workshop was organized by the Sejong Institute and hosted by Beez Inc., Nuclear Safety Research Association, and Japan Nuclear Safety Institute. The participants include, from the Korean delegation, Jin Chang Soo (President, the Sejong Institute), Lee Sang Hyun (Vice President for Research Planning, the Sejong Institute), Park Youn Won (President, Beez Inc, and former President of Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety[KINS]), and Kim Ho Kee (Researcher, KINS) among others. Japanese participants include Yagawa Genki (Chairman, Nuclear Safety Research Association), Kugo Akihide (Director, Japan Nuclear Safety Institute), Nomura Toyohiro (President, Japan Energy Law Institute), Mizumoto Kazumi (Vice President, Hiroshima Peace Institute at Hiroshima City University), etc.
