Sejong-RAND Joint Conference

For two days from October 10 to October 11, the Sejong Institute held joint conference with RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, the U.S., on the topic of "Strengthening ROK-U.S. Relations in the New Administration." The first day was a closed session and the second day was an open session with U.S. experts and scholars participating. Participants including Dr. Rafiq Dossani, Dr. Bruce Bennett, and Dr. Booseung Chang from the RAND Corporation, Professor Bruce Bechtol at Angelo State University, Professor Seong-ho Sheen at Seoul National University, Professor Chung Min Lee at Yonsei University, Jin Kyo Suh at Korea Institute of International Economic Policy, and Un-Chul Yang, Vice President of the Sejong Institute, revisited the current ROK-US relations, and had an in-depth discussion on policies and agendas that the new U.S. administration should prioritize in order to strengthen the bilateral relations.
