The Discussion in Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the ROK-Japan Relations was held from June 8 to 9, 2015, in Jeju, ROK. The discussion was attended by prominent experts and journalists, including Chairman of the Sejong Foundation, Joon Woo Park, President of the Sejong Institute, Chang Soo Jin. The attendees of the discussion exchanged their views on the bilateral relations and addressed the importance of trust-building and solving current historical conflicts for the next 50 years.   

The discussion discussed the following topics:
▶ROK-Japan Joint Declaration and ROK-Japan Summit Dialogue 
▶People-to-people exchanges
▶Establishment of an organization dedicated to solve historical disputes 
▶Journals for Korean and Japanese journalists
▶Cooperation on Global Issues 

The discussion was co-organized by the Sejong Institute and the Korea Press Foundation and hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
