The Sejong Institute held its 4rd Policy Symposium on November 14, 2012, with Karl Eikenberry, William J. Perry Fellow in International Security at the Center for International Security and Former U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan. Ambassador Eikenberry presented on "China's National Security Strategy and Military Modernization". 

Ambassador Eikenberry presented China's current national security objectives, assessed it's current internal, external, and military situation, and outlined China's future tasks and challenges.

The symposium was moderated by Dr. Chol-Ho Chung, attended by President Daesung Song and the Sejong Institute's research fellows.
