On Wednesday of August 28th, 2019, the Sejong Institute held the 2nd Domestic Conference on the topic of “Establishing Northeast Asian Railway Community and Potential Corresponding Cooperation Projects” as part of establishing the public-private network for the 2019 Northeast Asia Peace and Cooperation (NAPC) Platform project. This conference, as a part of the ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ project, brought together experts of the Sejong Institute, including President Paik Haksoon, Visiting Research Fellow Hwang Jae Jun, and other experts in the relevant fields. The participants exchanged ideas to further consolidate the strategy and vision behind the Northeast Asian Railway Community initiative and discussed potential projects to be initiated in the near future.
