On December 9, “Korea Global Forum for Peace (KGFP) 2019” was held at S. Rajarantam School of International Studies (RSIS) in Singapore, under the title of “Denuclearization and Peace on the Korean Peninsula and the ROK-Singapore Cooperation.” The Forum was hosted by the ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs and jointly organized by the Sejong Institute and the RSIS.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, KGFP aims to promote international consensus on peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula and to raise support for the South Korean government’s North Korea and unification policies as well as search for better policy alternatives. It is a 1.5 track international multilateral consultation platform that includes current and former government officials and experts. The Forum in Signapore was preceded by the events in Seoul on June 19, in Tokyo on July 16, in Moscow on September 20, in Beijing on October 10, and in Washington, DC on November 20.
