On Thursday of July 16, the Sejong Institute held the first domestic conference on the topic of “Human Security and Peace Cooperation in Northeast Asia: Challenges and Tasks" as a part of establishing the public-private network for the 2020 Northeast Asia Peace and Cooperation Platform Project.
The forum started with the opening speech of President PAIK Haksoon of the Sejong Institute. Dr. WOO Jung-Yeop, Vice President of the Research Planning Division at the Sejong Institute, moderated sessions. Prof. KIM Sangbae (Seoul National University), Dr. LEE Sang Hyun (The Sejong Institute), Prof. YOON Yisook (Kwangwoon University), and Prof. PARK Ihn-Hwi (Ewha Womans University) made presentations. Prof. KIM Yuen (Hanyang University), Dr. CHO Han Beom (KINU), Dr. CHO Kyunghwan (PCPP), Prof. SONG Tae Eun (KNDA), Dr. HWANG Jaejoon (The Sejong Institute), Dr. LEE Daewoo (The Sejong Institute), Dr. LEE Sung Woo (Gyeonggi Research Institute), Prof. LEE Jong-koo (Seoul National Univeristy), and Prof. LEE Taedong (Yonsei University) attended as panelists for an in-depth discussion.
